An interaction program was organised on September 22 for our new volunteers with the children and patients supported by your foundation. All new volunteers showed the depth of their commitment to the foundation’s work for better healthcare and support to the children and patients in need.
All volunteers had a direct interaction with the patients, their families and volunteering team members. Majority of these underprivileged patients are suffering from serious illness and they have come to Delhi from nearby states where they do not have even access to basic health care.
Also living in the shadow of poverty creates numerous problems, especially for children with medical needs, who often have to stop school early. With the help of our volunteers and friends of Uday Foundation, we try to provide best possible support to these children and other patients with serious illness.
Our volunteers – patients program was a huge success, as the adrenaline charged volunteers pledged to make a real, positive and lasting improvement in the quality of life for our children and the underprivileged patients.
