Campaign against Rakhi Sawant’s Reality Show Pati Patni Aur Woh
Uday Foundation felt that it is completely unethical to exploit young children (new born & toddler) in the pursuit of entertainment. Moreover as mentioned in the Pati Patni Aur Woh ‘s press release, even though the parents of these young children are watching via closed-circuit television, the babies are not aware of that and have no way of knowing how long the parents will be gone.
Based on our complaint to Minister of State for Women and Child Development (WCD) Krishna Tirath and National Commission and the National
Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR), Matter reached Delhi High Court. The Debate is still on for the use of young children for the pursuit of entertainment.
