No celebration is complete till we share it with others. Even as we all feel ecstatic just by the thought of Diwali, spare a moment and think about homeless and destitute and their struggles to meet both ends.
This Diwali, We at Uday Foundation will provide freshly cooked food and a blanket to the homeless and needy in major parts of north India. We seek your support in our effort.
Celebrate this Diwali by supporting the homeless, by providing warmth to infants, young and old. A death due to an epidemic and disease will hit headlines but a death due to cold will be considered an annual affair. Let us all come together to stop this as we celebrate the festival of lights.
A small request to all of you to have a heart for the homeless. We may be the fortunate ones but that shouldn’t stop us from helping the less fortunate ones around us.
Our aim is simple – to provide warm food, purchase blankets, sweaters, sleeping bags and distribute it among the needy.
